Install Zonkod on macOS.

Works on both Intel and Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3). Download the DMG, drag, done.

Installing Zonkod on a phone

    Download the DMG

    Go to the download page and click Download (.dmg). The file is called zonkod-latest.dmg.

    Open the DMG

    Double-click the downloaded file. A window opens showing the Zonkod app icon and a folder icon labelledApplications.

    Drag Zonkod to Applications

    Drag the Zonkod icon onto theApplicationsfolder. This copies the app to your Applications folder.

    Open Zonkod

    Open Finder → Applications → Zonkod. The first time, macOS may say "Zonkod cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer."

    If macOS blocks the app:

    Close the dialog. Then go toSystem Settings→Privacy & Security. Scroll down and clickOpen Anywaynext to the Zonkod warning. ClickOpenin the confirmation dialog.

Is it safe?

Yes. The app is notarized. macOS Gatekeeper shows a warning because Zonkod is new. Apple relaxes this once the app gets more downloads.

Updating

Zonkod checks for updates automatically. When a new version is available, you'll get a notification. You can also re-download the DMG and replace the old app; your settings are preserved.
